Rain + hair = disaster

Not anymore i've made my research and i found a solution for this major problem, now that we are in winter; i was looking through the pages of vogue magazine and i read what George Northwood             ( Hairstylist; he has worked with Alexa Chung, Rosie Huntington-whiteley among others) had said about this.

The biggest problem that the rain causes in our hair is the, always hated FRIZZ, i know we really hate this, don't lie to me, so if you see a really rainy day don't even think about using a tousled or a romantic up-do, the more wetter it gets, the more frizzer you would be.

You should go for a sleek style, like a high tight ponytail, this would survive. It also would work better if you don't wash it that day, and using product like mouse or a little bit of hairspray to prevent the flyaways.

And the most important thing FORGET  about the straighteners, it wont work and it is just going to burn your hair for no reason.

  

is your makeup making you look older?

This is not what we want our makeup to do, definitely not! we use use makeup to enhance some of our features of our face. So here i'm going to tell you some things that maybe we are doing wrong and it making us look older.

Try not to use foundation in your entire face, a lot of times , and i have seen this we don't choose the right color to march with our skins so i know our face would be in one color but when somebody is looking at you they would not only look at your face they would see your neck everything and they are gonna be in different colors, that would make you look bad, so if you don't have the right foundation just use it where you have a spots. In case you do find the right color you can look for one that have some kind of moisturizers this would make your skin look really alive and soft.

Too many powders is the worst thing you can do cause it makes your skin really really dry. We should only use a little bit of this product and only on the T zone of our face ( the most oily part) and it means the nose and forehead just that. It also causes wrinkles protrude.

Using a too dark blush is another mistake. Blush is just meant to make your cheeks look a little more alive and gives you that color that mens really like, but if you use a wrong color or maybe too dark it wont work nor look good in you, so be sure to use just the right amount and color.

And finally we should wear the type of makeup according to our age and were we are going  because that also make us look bad or good, sometimes, i know that we see somebody using a really dark and a totally pub type of makeup and because we like we think we can were it for any place but, that's not right we need to know were are we going and what is appropriate for the occasion.  

A small closet?

The other day in the morning i was in a super rush and when i went to my closet to see what i was going to wear i literally couldn't find anything, it was a complete mess. It is just that some times it gets hard to keep it tidy when in my head it seems to be a really small place. So i started to look for some tips or something to help me fix my problem and this is what i found.

1. Color
The first thing i found is that one of the best ways to organize the clothes is by colors;  in my opinion is one of the easiest ways to do it because is pleasing at our view and it would make it easy in he morning to choose an outfit.

2. Lighting

 Sometimes our wardrobe can be a little dark; and this wont let us choose what we can wear, because it may change your mood and say mm i should wear something gray, and this happens because our mind associates the dark color with the clothes. Another problem is that it might not show to our eyes the real color of the items.

3. Somewhere to sit 

If you have enough place to have maybe a chair or anything really to seat would make the time of choosing your clothes better. for example you are in a rush and really stressed out, instead of standing in front of your closet you can have a seat and see your closet in that way, sitting,  would calm you down, so from that position you can look all your clothes but a little bit more comfortable.

4 Not enough room even for doors 

Maybe you don't have enough space for closet doors or you don't want it to have a door; a solution for this is to instead of having doors you can use curtains, you can use and choose between a million of fabrics and it would be the one you love.

5. Mood-board

I know sometimes we don't feel like dressing at all, ( it happens to me really often i can say) and i end up trying every single thing i own in one morning and then i am too tired or i'm going out that it doesn't even pass through my head to clean all the mess i made, and later  everything is still a mess when, so a way to avoid all of that is making some kind of a mood board, its a board made of cork, and in this you can print and place outfits that you like or color combinations, things like that so if you are in a rush you can look your mood board and search for a similar outfit in your closet.

6. Make it your own 

Sometimes it just seems like the problem is that is really small, but the real reason is that we just don't like it because it's the wrong color, or you don't like the racks you prefer drawers, so just change it, maybe it is a little bit more expensive to change the whole wardrobe but changing the color, or putting some mural paper in your favorite design, or making boxes with fun colors to put your socks, just small details would make it you like it a little more, and because you like it now you would make an effort to keep it clean and tidy

2014 trend: between sport and chic

A long of all the trends for this 2014, there is one that has catch my attention cause it is a way of looking somehow a little bit sporty but feminine and chic, all at the same time. 

This trend is "the jogger pant" or "track pants", we started to see this ones at the Givenchy and celine runways, among others.

At first sight you may think that they are a little to tomboy style or maybe that you cant pull out a stylish outfit this this pant, it is a really super easy thing; let me tell you how you can do it:

First we can start with a basic one; this is a black one made of cotton. you can pair it with a white strappy top, some black heels and a fit blazer ( it can be of any color if you stay with the black and white style) this should work for like a workish style.

 
 

But if you want to use it to go out and we somehow a little bit more i dont now how to say it but like a party style; lets use the same pant as before and we can pair it with a crop top i've chosen a cranberry color, a black fur jacket and the same shoes as before.

 

As you can see it's really easy to pull out an outfit with this pants, and that you can wear it for different situations, and you are going to look really chic feminine and effortless. 

 

10 Staples for Every Woman’s Wardrobe

Some people sometimes says that they find it very difficult to make an outfit or maybe it can take them a lot of time, and as a lot of people now we do not have  long time to spend thinking what to wear; so i thought maybe i can help you out showing you 10 items that are going to save you a lot of time in the morning or maybe if you are running late.

First i'm going to start with a pair of smart black trousers; you can use it with almost everything of your closet ( i mean almost everything cause you are not gonna pair it with some sports shirts) and because its a neutral color you can wear it with every color know.

But if you are a little more edgy maybe you can look for a pair of high waisted black trousers.

2. Then we have the french-cuff dress shirt; this is the simplest shirt and i think it fit every type of body, this shirt or blouse can make a bit more formal your look, and you can use it with a pencil skirt or some black trousers, or even maybe you wanna be a little bit more casual pair it with some jeans and it will make your outfit neater.

3. Now moving to the heels we have the black pumps this is the best option cause this shoe is planning to stay in trend for a long long time from now, and it is because its a go-to shoe cause you can use it to work and also then to have some drinks at night. I think if you have a good budget you could buy some leather ones cause you know they are gonna last a lot more, and also their mate finish goes with everything or maybe some kind of shiny leather also gives it an edgy look to the outfit; but if you are like me and dont have a lot of money you can find some chamois one and they are going to look really good and you wont know they are cheap

The first pump are leather and the second ones are chamois and like in my opinion they would look really good in any outfit. 

*Now looking the style of this pumps you can tell that they are really simples and have a low cut front, and pointed toes and have a minimum if 2 inches heel. 

4. Day dress; nowadays pants in women are completely acceptable, and we use it every day almost, because it is very comfortable, but if we have like a especial occasion in the day we can shift the trousers for a day dress and its gonna surprise everybody. It will be a great choice for semiformal festivities like brunchs, recitals, and afternoon bridal showers.

 

5.black suit; the black suit is the perfect safe gold standard for the business world. But this appeal for more than just the work place, because if you go somewhere with this you are gonna look proper, polished and modern, what else can you ask it's a perfect first, second and beyond impression, that's why we should invest a little bit more in a really good suit, and even if you don't want to use both pieces together you can make a lot of different outfits using just the skirt or just the jacket.  

6. Evening dress; supposing it is a big party or a little cocktail, a black dress is synonymous of chic, sophisticated style. With a simple black dress with a v neck, a fitted waits and a floaty skirt will come out of your closet a lot of times i can be sure of that. And because the dress is really simple you can make it stand out and make it look different from time to time changing the necklace or maybe with different shoes or even changing your own hairstyle will make you look different.

 

7. Dressy jacket; this is the perfect way to upgrade your outfit in just a second, you can be wearing for example just basics a pair of jeans and a white shirt you put on a dressy jacket your look just went up like 10 points , also you can put it over your black skit( of the back suit ) and it will make it llok completely different.

8. Evening clutch; sometimes if you are going to  party late at night a big daytime bag will not be the best options so it necessary to have a nighttime option big enough to hold your essential, as cellphone, cash, keys and lipstick and in most cases they have a chain strap for when you are tired of holding it with your hands.

9. Pashminas; there's nothing better that can complement an evening dress as a wrap it will keep you warm when you are for example in the car with the window open or maybe if its windy; and also it will go just as capably with more casual attire, like jeans.

10. Metalli strappy Sandals; firs ask you this question what do i use as jewelry gold or silver?y if it is silver go for the silver strappy sandals and if it is gold  go for the gold ones, this are going to be your nighttime neutrals, because they go with every color and patterns. Also if you love to dance chose some heels not really that high and with a little bit of platform.

  

     

London fashion week / #LFW

To start this review of the london fashion week, i have to say that is the most risk taker among all of the other fashion week, you get to see all of the most daring and exiting clothes.

first I'm gonna start with Ashish, he brought us all glitter for this spring summer 2014, the collection shows a lot of baggy clothes that do look good on the body and it has some prints like coca cola logo and arabic words, it has also mixed a lot of different prints like stripes with leopard.

Mary Katrantzou: this season she has experimented with sequins in suits or gowns. It ended up being a colletion that was sophisticated and youthful enough to be a huge retail success. If you wanna stand out this brand is worth it cause first it is a really detail work and also you can be sure that nobody would have the same item.

Erdem: this brand is perfect for the modern elegant woman, he produces collections that are really feminine and some kind futuristic with the designs. this time he introduced some cocktail dresses with various asymmetries and brilliant brocades. this designs could be used for a night out or maybe to just have a tea in the middle of the afternoon.

Giles: his collection always shows fun clothes, this time we can see a lot of skirts and dresses as well as big coats, that are gonna be trending this next spring. in the runway we can see cara delevigne ( article coming soon) with a beanie and taking selfies all chill out.

KTZ: this is all about the cool urban street wear. this time it predominated the texture, like heavy embellishments to latex. We can see a lot of prints going on there and necklaces.

Peter Piloto: the team of designer of peter piloto really love all kind of prints that are always present in there collection but this time they were more subtle, but it may not look really subtle, it really is subtle for peter. this is totally in for fall, cause because of the weather the least thing to do is be boring with your clothes.

Tom ford: he is finally showing his collection on the london fashion week, cause he first was in Milan with Gucci then in Paris in the helm of YSL. This season it was a little bit western but without loosing the sexiness of all the time, with leopard twinsets and all-black tuxedos

she wears not as edgy clothes as her sister Kylie, her style is like a little more cute, monochromatic or like plain clothes, but putting all together makes her outfit to stand out.

For her make up she never goes wrong with using a really natural style; to have get it you have to do this:

1.  Use a moisturizer day and night, this would make your skin really soft.
2.  Start putting on a foundation that matches your skin tone, then a powder.
